The very first collection was born after one of the most inspiring trips we have ever had. While Sarune was studying in Portugal, Asta came to visit. We both fell in love with Porto, brought that love back to Lithuania and decided to do something with it. That’s how Portuguese “Azulejos” collection was created in May of 2017, marking the launch of Chestnut In The Pocket.
After a successful launch and a lot of work put into opening our Etsy shop, we went on a trip to Copenhagen. Seeing all these beautiful tiles in the Copenhagen City Hall, not taking any pictures of them felt like a crime. So of course we took many pictures and the new collection of Copenhagen tile coasters was created. This collection is as cozy as the Danish Hygge lifestyle feels like.
We still come up with new collections, being it inspired by our own home city of Vilnius or you, our customers, who challenge us to grow and make new things, as happened with our now one of the most requested collection – customised wedding favours.
